- This brand new colourway from Market Town Yarns has been developed especially for the Unravel Autumn yarn festival. You can pre-order your skein(s) for collection at Unravel which takes place on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th September 2025. Alternatively we can post your skein(s) to you after Unravel which is week commencing Monday 15th September 2025.
If ordering for collection from Unravel, please include a note at checkout letting us know that you will be collecting from there.
Market Town Yarns Squishy Sock yarn is a blend of 85% extra fine Superwash Merino wool and 15% nylon. It is luxuriously soft but hardwearing enough to be used in a pair of handmade socks. And talking of socks, each skein is 400 metres in length which is more than enough to make one pair of socks. It is also perfect for making other garments such as shawls and wraps.
Market Town Yarns Squishy DK yarn is a blend of 85% extra fine Superwash Merino wool and 15% nylon. It is very soft and luxurious to the touch and has the perfect amount of give making it ideal for garments, blankets and accessories. Each 100g skein provides 225 metres of yarn.
Market Town Yarns Silky 4-ply is a blend of 75% extra fine Superwash Merino wool and 25% Mulberry silk. It is luxuriously soft with a sheen and drape that comes from the addition of silk. Ideal for shawls, garments or any other knitting or crochet project requiring up to 400 metres of fingering weight yarn.
Market Town Yarns Silky DK is a blend of 75% extra fine Superwash Merino wool and 25% Mulberry silk. It is super soft with a sheen and drape that comes from the addition of silk. Ideal for blankets, accessories or any other knitting or crochet project requiring up to 225 metres of double knitting weight yarn.
Market Town Yarns Bluefaced Leicester & silk (55% BFL / 45% silk) base is an exquisite 4-ply / fingering / sock weight yarn which is sumptuously soft and silky, making it suitable for all manner of projects including scarves, shawls, cowls, sweaters and other garments. This base is even suitable for socks on a tight gauge. Each 100g skein is 400 metres in length.
