This super simple slouchy hat is a fun and quick project which is suitable for beginners.

The hat can be worn with the rib section folded up or alternatively folded down for a more slouched effect.

You can finish the hat using either the Finchley graft (preferred) or Kitchener stitch.

Suggested yarn: 1 skein Emma’s Yarn Washable Worsted Wool, 100% Superwash Merino 218 yards/ 100g (pictured in Plant Lady) or 210 yards of a worsted weight yarn.

Dimensions: One size
Notions: 1 stitch marker and a darning needle for weaving in ends
