muud accessories are made using responsibility sourced leather from India. Leather is a durable, heat-resistant and aesthetically pleasing material. The leather is sourced from cows that have died after being used for milk. While they are alive, the cows are allowed to roam free and are not confined in a dairy. They are also not bred for their leather, and this by-product would otherwise be destroyed. muud joined the Leather Working Group in 2021 in order to support responsible leather manufacture.

The dye used on the bags is sourced in Germany.
