These Cohana lacquer scissors are handmade with traditional lacquer handles which feel warm in the hand. The super sharp pointed blades are made from steel by Hasegawa in Seki, Gifu Prefecture, a region of Japan renowned for blade manufacture. Hasegawa have been making edged tools since 1933.
There is a gold and silver tassel attached to the handle and the scissors come with a real leather pouch and a large polishing cloth. Comes housed in a wooden box finished with an elastic ribbon.
