  • Emma’s Yarn was started by Emma when she was just 15 years of age. She was studying maths at home (being a home-schooled student) when she found a love for dyeing yarn. She dyed a small batch of yarn just for fun whilst learning about ratios in her maths class. This was the catalyst that started the revolution.

Emma is now one of the most revered indie dyers in the USA. Emma’s sister, Aspen, a college graduate in Anthropology now works with her sister full time and aside from helping with the dyeing, she helps with the development and growth of the business.

With a family of knitters and weavers with a passion for colour, Emma’s Yarn has gone from a maths lesson to a family-run, dye studio situated in Winter Haven, Florida.
