This gorgeous knitted cushion has been designed by Debbie Bliss and Chloé Elizabeth Birch for West Yorkshire Spinners.
It takes inspiration from William Morris and features a subtle flower and foliage pattern on the front with stripes on the reverse with a buttoned opening. Stranded colourwork and intarsia techniques are used.
The kit contains 9 balls of West Yorkshire Spinners Morris DK and pattern.Included in the knitted blanket kit are:
4 x 50g balls of Morris DK in Linseed
2 x 50g balls of Morris DK in Clover
2 x 50g balls of Morris DK in Mint
1 x 50g ball of Morris DK in Marigold
Printed patternMorris DK is a special collaboration with the William Morris Society. It is a Double Knitting (DK) weight which is made using three quality British fleeces; lustrous and luxurious Bluefaced Leicester, soft and durable Bluefaced Kerry Hill, and the rustic and charming Masham.
